RAFFLESIA Launches rR rafflesia with Fashion Icon Mskuan: A New Era of Modern Luxury Jewelry

RAFFLESIA, the family-owned jeweller known for its exquisite pearl creations, officially launches rR rafflesia, a new sub brand designed to bridge fine jewellery with modern lifestyle. The launch event was held at Sushibell, an exclusive new omakase restaurant in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

rR rafflesia is co founded by Roland Sin, Director of RAFFLESIA, and Christinna Kuan, better known as Mskuan, one of Malaysia’s leading fashion icons. The idea was born during RAFFLESIA’s 30th anniversary gala, where both discussed the importance of making fine jewellery more relevant and accessible to a younger generation. Together, they envisioned rR rafflesia as more than jewellery, a lifestyle brand that resonates with modern aspirations, whether in fashion, travel, dining, or wellness.
 

The debut collection:
Beauty of Pearl

The debut series Beauty of Pearl introduces two designs, Nove and Oro. Crafted with Sin’s expertise in pearls and infused with Mskuan’s contemporary style, the pieces highlight the timeless beauty of white and golden pearls. Designed for everyday wear, the collection blends elegance with versatility, reminding wearers of values such as love, prosperity, and luck while elevating their personal style.

To celebrate the launch, Sin and Mskuan will host an exclusive rR rafflesia pop up, open to the public from 14 to 22 September 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the collection firsthand in an intimate and stylish setting.

A Fresh Brand Identity

The brand identity of rR rafflesia is anchored in pastel yellow, a fresh departure from RAFFLESIA’s classic identity. The colour reflects positivity, warmth, and a youthful spirit, symbolising the brand’s vision to inspire a new era of modern luxury.
